Our Women’s Ministry focus this month is prayer. As a craft we made Prayer Jars. Each found an empty container or jar in their home and decorated it using items they had. We then wrote out things we can pray for and put them in the jars. They are simple prompts that can be used during prayer times. Colossians 4:2 “Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful.” (Maging matiyaga kayo sa pananalangin, laging handa at nagpapasalamat sa Diyos. Colosas 4:2)
It’s almost December and our Women’s Ministry is preparing for our annual Bible Verse Challenge ! We challenge the women to memorize the 12 Bible verses from our monthly services this year. God’s Word is powerful! Committing His Word to memory is a great way to help people. When the challenges of life come, they have God’s Word in their heart.
Since before the pandemic we have been having weekly staff meetings where we all check in and share how our week has been, as well as sharing any exciting news/updates, and discuss any challenges and share ways to move forward. It’s always nice to see everyone’s smiling faces!
Thank you to everyone who continues to support and pray for our ministry. We are truly blessed to know you are with us!Our team was able to go house to house this week to visit the kids and give them their Bible Verse Page and Devotions Booklet for the month. The kids still need to remain at their houses and will be able to submit their answers to us online.
Our August Mabuhay Women’s Ministry online service was about fear and how we can overcome fear. Our verse for the month was Salmo 56:3 “Kapag ako’y natatakot, magtitiwala ako sa inyo”, or in English Psalm 56:3 “When I am afraid, I put my trust in you”. We are thankful that even though strict lockdown continues that we are able to minister online sharing hope and life and peace in Jesus.
